I love this picture.
Mom and Dad often took us up to the house as it was being built. They put a lot into that home on Georgewood Road. I remember how they stained all of the trim and doors, while we amused ourselves with building scraps and dirt piles.
At the end of the day, even as my sisters didn't exactly cooperate (naturally I was an absolute angel, heh heh ;~), you can sense her calm and loving nature in her face.
